Hello,

Just hit a month with my tank and plan on adding my first fish and corals next week. Amonnia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 10, sal 1.025, temp 78. I have a friend who offered me some LPS frags and am wondering if I could get some advice on my lighting. It is an ecoray 60D LED. here is the link to their site: Ecoray 60D | EcoRay

30 White High Power 1 Watt LED, Color Temperature 12,000K – 16,000K
30 Royal Blue High Power 1 Watt LED, Wave Length 450-460 nms
Overall Color Temperature 20,000K – 25,000K
62 W, 110 V – 240 V, Dual 12 ft electrical cords
Built-in fan
All Aluminium Housing 14†x 8.5†x 2.34â€, 8.2 lbs
Supporting L Brackets (not shown in photo) and hanging wire included

they claim 150+ par at edges reaching 500 in the center. Wondering if anyone has any advise about using the LED? I unfotunately cannot dim it. I have an mp10 which I believe will have significant circulation.

heres a few pics:

Yea, that baby will be ok for ya. You could throw dimmers on there if your good with electronics. Other than that, start your corals out in a shaded area, and slowly bring them out into full light, or you could throw some screen over the tank until they are acclimated to the new light.
