In the market for a new light for my 29g.
Im currently using a 150w hqi. Keeping Nems, Some sps, mushrooms, and LPS.
Looking at Maxspect razor 160w.
Was wondering if a Hydra 52 would be overkill, and kinda pricey if i also get the director and hanging kit. Would a hydra 26 work as well if not better than the razor?

Is it an all in one tank with lid? Like a nanocube or a biocube?

I dont think the orbit pro is an upgrade from a 150w mh, or if it will grow sps. I know its advertised as such...

Im pretty sure the AI prime isnt enough coverage

I really wanted to do the AI Hydra 52, but the cost for the unit, controller, and hanging kit is just waay too much.
So im leaning more towards the 160w 16k razor to replace my 150w MH.
Seeing as how the Razor has been out for a few years now, what the word on its longevity and long term use?
Any issue owners have run into at the 6mo 12mo or 2 year mark? Dieing or dimming LEDs, whole puck issues, anything else??
