I started my own saltwater tank about 9 months ago and I am hooked. I find it both exciting and peaceful. I ask you be patient with my dumb questions. I look forward to your advice and guidance.

Welcome to R2R, you are definitely right about this hobby being an addiction.

Right now i am having a problem with cyanobacteria and doing water changes and vacuuming up the cyano. I need to invest in a R.O. system, because of the water quality where I live. When I get done with the cyanobacteria I will send some pictures

If you have some DIY skills, you can make a waterfall algae scrubber, which will solve a lot of the issues associated with tap water. I use tap water, but have a scrubber.

I have to look into that. I have a 75 gallon and 125 gallon being cycled at this moment. A friend of mind is trying to sell me his 240 gallon; but the wife will kill me.
