Things are starting to get settled since the move 3 months ago, so I figured I would start a new tank thread.
Tank info:120g Bare Bottom
Lighting: 2 AI Vega Colors
Skimmer: Royal Exclusiv Alpha 170
Fish: Not listing tangs due to Tang Police, two clowns, 3 bartlett's anthias, 3 bangaii cardinals.
Here are the settings that I run on my Vegas. I know there isn't much info out there so hopefully this can help some others out there with questions.
White: 45%
Red: 20%
Green: 25%
Royal Blue: 95%
Deep Blue: 95%
Blue: 95%
Lights on at 10:10am
Lights off at 9:30pm
1 hour 30 minute Ramp Time

Nice! 2 Vegas on a 120? WOW! I had the Sol Blue when it first came out. Loved it. Got out of the hobby for a while. I am back now. I am trying a Maxspect over a 30 rimless. I bet I end up with AI again, given the mixed reviews of the Razors.

My friend has the Maxspect Mazarra P's over his 65g and has done very well with them. The vegas have wider optics than the Sols so they cover more area. I've had these lights for about a year now and once I dialed in their settings everything took off. I'm interested to see how the new AI Hydra 52 does. That light is a beast!

The corals look great, beautiful colors! I'd love to see a FTS with all the tangs. That's a handsome Sohal you got there!!

give us a rundown of your lighting percentages
I run the "basic setup" program which automatically sets the ramp up/down points. I don't use any of the regional settings (carribean, great barrier reef, etc.). My settings are listed below:
White: 45%
Red: 20%
Green: 25%
Royal Blue: 95%
Deep Blue: 95%
Blue: 95%
Lights on at 10:10am
Lights off at 9:30pm
1 hour 30 minute Ramp Time

Basically, the lights increase over the 90 minute ramp time. So they run at the labeled percentages from 11:40am until 8pm. Let me know if this wasn't what you were asking about.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
