Right now I'm in the planning stage but here goes. The 2 displays are a 27 cube and a deep blue 30. The fuge is a 29 and the sump is a 29. Skimmer is a reef octopus 125. 2 jebao dc3000 pumps. Titanium heater. Phosban reactor 150. Each tank will have a 250w hqi halide with 14000k bulb. Hears a rough sketch of what I'm thinking.

The 29s are drilled on the back already. The 27 is drilled on the back and the 30 has a corner overflow. The pumps will have 3/4" piping with a ball valve on eaxh. The drains are 1" with ball valves. The fuge will fill and drain across to the sump where all the equipment is. Let me know if you guys see any problems that I dont. Thanks

I wouldn't use two pumps. I would use one pump and T it off with valves. While having two of the exact same pumps may be the same in specs, other considerations may need to be taken. (Ex: one pump or piping gets clogged and thus slowing the flow, while other pumps normally. This causing more flow and possible flood to one of the tanks).

Otherwise, the setup looks fine. Just make it one pump.

Stand frame is donw. Been on vacation so haven't worked on it, but I'm back now. Will be wrapping it soon and staining.

I was going to do a similar build a while back with peaceful and predator tanks side by side, but canned it due to having to make too many compromises on the design due to space constraints.

One suggestion I would make is to have one of your drains go to the sump rather than the fuge. You want slower flow through the fuge, and both at once would probably be too much.

Okay guys I'm upgrading all my pumps and I was curious what size pumps I need. I was going to do the jebao dc3000 for the return and I wasn't sure if I would need 2 jebao wp10s for the deep blue 30 and 2 jebao wp10s for the 27 cube or if I would only need 1 for each. Any help would be appreciated

Wrapped the stand and siliconed the bottom seem so it won't leak if any water spills. Have to cut holes for the doors, paint the inside of the stand and stain the outside and it'll be finished

Nice stand! What are the dimensions? I'm building one that looks exactly the same for my 93 cube and 30 gal frag tank.
That was what I wanted to do!!! But the wife shut down the 93 cube

I told my wife about the 93 and slipped in the 30 gal frag tank. LOL! She didn't know I was making the stand 80"×32"×36" tall.
I might have to buy her a purse or something when I bring it home from the shop.
