Don't know how well it works but it's a reef octopus and would work on a 55 fully stocked

I've totally been looking at that exact same skimmer on the exact same site lol

just curious if anyone has had any issues with hob protein skimmers that I should be aware of or be keeping in mind as I search around

i bought the reef ocopus bh 2000 for my mixed reef 55 last year and it is awesome. i have not had a single problem and it pulls out some really nasty stuff. it is a quality product from what ive experienced and am extreamly satisfied with what i got. i just run this skimmer, no fuge or sump, and have awesome growth from all my corals.. i did soooooo much research before i bought it and from what i read this is the best hob skimmer. i suggest u get it. only issue was when i first recieved it i had a hard time figuring out how low or high to adjust the intake and air flow because it lacks good directions.. so if u end up getting it message me and ill give u more info
