What's up reef guys so recently got some torch coral,bubble coral,and zoas. And I check my waters every Monday and do a water change on Mondays as well my salinity is at 1.024 and everything else it at zeros I mix my own salt and use reef crystals all the time I don't dose and the temo stays around 75/77 but my corals do t fully open theyll be out like a little but usually it looks weak lol.I see other people's torch looks legit I just don't wanna dose cause I'm not really ready for that. Please can so.done let me know btw I have a really good led light so I doubt it's the lights too.

If they were under T5s or halides when you got them, they may simply need to adjust to the lighting. Be patient and feed them. They may benefit from a couple layers of screen to block the light, slowly removed over time as they acclimate.

I'd agree that if they weren't under LED when you bought them, you need to acclimate them to your LEDs.

So I went to the store picked up a alkalinity tester and I am pretty high like 14-15 dkh high my calcium is ok at 460ppm so someone told me to wait it out till the alkalinity drops slowly I did a water change today and it stayed the same so just curious do any of you helpful gents point me to the right way I don't wanna do something I will regret ph is 8.2

14-15 shouldnt be a problem, id continue to let it ride itself down.

Hey so I checked my alkalinity today and it seemed to be going up more today it was about 16-17 dkh should I do a water change

It went up?? Without a water change? Thats not right. You need to recheck with the LFS or a friends kit.
