I found an icetray that makes long, thin ice cubes about 2" long and 1/4" around if that's what you mean. Think it came from WalMart. Right now is a good time for this kind of thing with people buying summer stuff. Other than that though I don't know.

I plan on doing the agrocrete ones that is on garf.I don't have a link.I have 2 5 gallon buckets of sand/cruched coral that will be put to use.I think the mix is a 3 to 1 ratio, but I would do a search first on garf to be sure.

Randy i used sand to mold my cement plugs. I used a 3/4" pvc plug to mold the disc part, and a sharpee pen for the shaft that goes into the eggcrate.

You can try to cut a piece of pvc pipe maybe 1/4 high with a piece of acrylic under it .After it sets ,lift the pvc piece and pop them out ,,you can use a large sheet with lots of pvc piece ,you can make all diff sizes ,1" 1.5" and so on ,all you need to do is cut the pvc pipe str8 and youre set JMO that just to make reef discs.

I'll get you some this afternoon. Basically i took a large styro cooler filled about 3-4" of damp sand and smoothed it all out. Then you push the PVC plug into the sand to make the disc mold throughout the cooler. After that, take the sharpee and push it down into the middle of the disc mold you just made. Then just pour in the cement. Make the cement slightly running, sorta like a runny slurpee. The sand will absorb a lot of the water.

Pics to follow after i get off work.

Here is a pic i have of some just plain discs i made. They are square but you get the idea. From here you would push the sharpee into the middle to create the post that goes into the eggcrate.

Hey Randy,

Have you made any type of mold yet?

I can make you one out of solid PVC (vinyl). It will work good because nothing will stick to it. What size do you want the "disc" part to be?
How many do you want to make at once?

Give me your address and I will mail it to you and if you like it, you can mail back some frags.:p

LMK,
Steve
