I just got done cleaning the glass. I stared for a few minutes then thought, "I'll lay on the futon and stare at the tank for a bit." I then turn to the futon and see unfolded laundry on it lol

I stare at it when I get home from work every night. Looking to make sure things are doing good. Checking for surprise, because you know its just like the fridge. If I keep checking on it something is bound to pop out at me

Sitting here staring at it and holding my brand new Nikon D7100 trying to figure out how on earth this camera works. Too many buttons, modes, settings, etc. Can't wait to start shooting really good macro shots with it. I do love the way my tank is progressing. Been up since mid-July.

South...WAY south...
the deeeeeeep south - popeyes chicken "rocks"heeheeheh"
Lucky's - I have been staring at my tank for 72hors now. Got a condition going on. Was out of glue and grabbed a reef-putty stick from a friend. Was different from my original-still brand new(which is the red-this one was the black that looks purple coraline when in tank) brand, but I guess he has been holding on to it for some months(said 11-12). Thought nothing of it and I have never had problems with it b4. Had a large batch of new arrivals so hence within 24hrs 1/2 the stick was used in new attachments. Within hours I had been dealing with crazy reactions. I have now lost my prize fish in the tank, a couple colonies and some fav frags. My po4 has raised from .00-.03 to 1.45. I checked this morning and it was 2.01. changed out carbon and gfo - adding a large amount from my normal routine. Did a test with the putty in a 500ml specimen container and a ball of putty added to water that tested 0.03 raised the po4 to 0.25 within 45 min. Pounding my head against the glass right now. I cant pull all that putty back out - it is set and everywhere. But I am still staring at the tank.lol

Just got home from work and I like to sit here with my tank and my thoughts. Just listening to my tank helps me unwind. There's nothing like relaxing after truck driving for 11hrs. My tank is my oasis. :)
