So I hear the 1 lbs of rock per 1 gallon of water.

Right now I have 90 lbs ish. And I love how the rock work turned out. Plenty of caves. And surface area for corals.

Tank it a 189 with 65 gallon sump. I plan to put rock in the dump. An area of 6 in x 18 in x 12 in. Rubble and a few big pieces.

Oolitic aragonite sand? my preferance- makes a good productive sand bed would not worry about the 1lb per gallon of rock stuff your sandbed will easily
pick the slack up -the rock and sand bed once established will be your bio-filter and primary source of denitrification for your system and also a food source for your fish and corals

Sand according to website is Bahamian aragonite. Sand has been washed and dried.
Good choice! will work well
off to a great start I,ll be tagging along going to be beautiful makes me want to rescape! Lol, last time I did it was a week long project imo the aquascaping
is the most frustrating part of the build!

And again thank you. Hate to admit. But that only took about 30 minutes. Lol. I originally wanted two different side. With a gap in the middle. But after playing with the piece now in the center. That is what I ended up with. I didn't want anything touching the acrylic and didn't want any very convenient places for fish to hide. Lol.
