Are you a Male or Female reefer? (poll)

In a male dominated hobby the occasional female reefers is few and far between. But how "rare" are female hobbyists really?

What do you think?

Male! I don't see the Poll. I would have to guess that about 75% of reefers are male. Just a guess

I am just learning that and I am very surprised. I have had aquariums in one form or another since 1980.

Not as rare as you might think. It just that most women read the direstions and don't need to ask for help.

You know! I know all of my stuff is done right, because I do it at least three times to get one finished product.

I wish this hobby was like going to a club and a 3 to 1 women to men ratio. I haven't met any female reefers as of yet, but I have my fingers crossed that someday I'll meet one and we can stare at each others reef tanks in total bliss.

I am surprised that it is only 2:1 so far. Definitely the people I know in person and online are almost all male. Perhaps women are just more apt to take a poll?

I gonna say 90%men 10%ladies my fiancé always funds other things besides my tanks but thinks the are the coolest

I'm not sure why there aren't more women in the reef hobby. It's creative, beautiful and we are already accustomed to taking care of little universes!
