I have not heard anything bad about IO reef crystals, but started with RS pro, so may as well stick with it.

I've used Red Sea (regular), Red Sea Coral Pro, Reef Crystals, and currently D&D. The only thing I've notice so far is that Red Sea (regular or Coral Pro) makes my mixing bucket dirty faster than Reef Crystals and D&D but it mixes very FAST than Reef Crystals.

I agree IO had to mix 24 hrs,,Red Sea only like 2 hours for me..but I was wondering if you could have Red Sea mixed up and stored, If so how long will it last ?

That's a good question. I know brs has a video on there RO setup filling1 barrel with fresh RO water and another barrel for salt water. That's something I have been thinking about doing on my RO setup but was wondering the same thing, how long is it good for?

I use IO Reef Crystals

I keep a 20 gallon brute can mixed in the garage at all times. It takes me about a month to go through all 20 gallons so every month is a full turn over.

I travel approx 30 min to my LFS. They carry IORC & RSCP. I am not sure what they are getting for the RC, but the pro is$60 for the big bucket.

Redsea salt should only be mixed about four hours before use to get the full benifit of the additives.

Oceanic mixed and hour or two ahead of time depending if it needs warmed up or not in winter months. I never mix it more than a couple hours at most before using.

Reef Crystals at .025 I have 2- 20g Brute trash cans that I fill with 15g each with one for fresh and one for salt. I do a 15g water change a week on my 90g and mix in the salt overnight. The other 15g last me about 2 weeks for top off.
