Using a Korallin C1502 Calcium Reactor; Aqua Lifter; 5lb CO2 Tank; Pinpoint controller.

I'm having a real hard time getting it dialed in... I've ready many articles but still can't get a low effluent. I 1st started out with the recommended 40/10 drips/bubbles per minute but my effluent never got down below the tanks ph level...

Should I keep it here leave it as is or adjust it some more to bring the effluent ph amount down??

Not sure if it'll help, but check out this calculator/tip page.
Calcium Reactor Setup Help

Also, read through this great guide.
A Guide to Using Calcium Reactors by Simon Huntington - Reefkeeping.com

My calcium reactor, a C1502, had 2 bubble counters. One was connected to the regulator, one was actually part of the reactor chamber. I made the mistake of reading the wrong one. If you're in the same situation, completely ignore the bubble counter, on the regulator. The one connected to the reactor is the important one.

Well a reefer from my club gave me some advise that seems to work ph is on the rise it's up to 8.01 now an I have to test alk later today.

What he mentioned is since I have a controller don't worry about the drop/bubbles per minute. Turn off outlet 1 and increase the effluent drops to almost a stream and turn up the CO2. The case he presented is that the CO2 was escaping trough outlet 1 and not saturating the media.

So far this it working great.
