How is the width of the flow of the 6255 compared to the 6105? And have you ever been able to compare the width or length of the flow to an MP60? Also why did you go with @ 6105's instead? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm in the same situation as you were in the beginning of your build. Although I'm going to be replacing two of my 6105's with either a 6255 or MP60.

6255 is a lot wider than the 6105. Here is link to check out: Tunze Turbelle Stream Pumps: What You Really Need to Know! ? Advanced Aquarist | Aquarist Magazine and Blog
I have been able to compare it to an MP60 and the 6255 reached across my tank with more force than the MP60. I went with 4 6105s strictly for the variety and type of flow I wanted to achieve. I wanted to do a gyre flow so mounted the pumps one in each corner with only two on at one time making the water spin in a circle. After 4 hours I switch and the water spins in the opposite direction. The 6255 is a very powerful water mover. I will say one thing about the Tunze compared to the MP60. The Tunze 6255 is silent, i mean completely silent. Ramp up down, fast/slow, doesn't matter. The MP60 is loud. When I tried it out it the loudest thing on my tank.

Would you say the MP60 had a wider flow than the 6255, or vice versa? Due to my aquascape, I don't need it to reach the opposite side. The width is more important. Thanks.
