I've seen retailers call zoas that look exactly like blue steels and african blue zoas blue hornets. I've also read that purple hornets can appear blue under different lighting.

IMO: What people are advertising as blue hornets are the same as blue steels and african blue zoas, but purple hornets have an alternating purple/green skirt and can appear blue under different lighting.

I wouldn't pay a ton for either. The prices on some of these things are rediculous.

No problem! Some of the zoas, chalice, SPS and so are on very expensive. But, this is a collecting and addictive hobby so if you want the rare items then you have to pay for them. This does not just apply to this hobby but instead it applies to most hobbies. So, I hate to see when something is being sold for something it is not. All this does is ruin the hobby and most of all it is taking advantage of people and ripping them off.

Yes, the creamsicles are sweet. I plan to grow some out, therefore I should have more in the future.

Yeah, I see my photos on the site all of the time. I started watermarking them because of it. If they use the photo then they are advertising for you.....

Its an under managed site that has a ton of potential. People do and say as they please over there which runs a lot of the newer people off. And for the people that are not new, well they just don't want to put up with it.

WOW! that thread made my head spin... LOL

Funny though, i ran across this thread that had a stolen picture of mine and a pretty funny pwnage post. http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=197511&st=20

I might have to join that site. hehe

I called out a vendor in my local club forum, who is also a vendor here, and the clown "banned" me from his store. HA! I will try and find a link.

Thats pretty funny. I knew when huge rocks of these zoas ended up in Indiana, that they must be a dime a dozen. I think the people on that forum have small tank syndrome...

TonyB is now banned, just because!

I see and take care of a ton of coral. This does not mean that I know it all, thats for sure. People have corrected me before and I think its a good thing. I would hate to sell a coral to someone when I am wrong about the name or possibly the type of coral.
