So mine seems to be growing alright. I have gone from 1 polyps to about 5 in 3 months. The oldest polyps is about 4 to 5 times bigger then the green button polyps right next to it. Now I have a question is there a way to get more white in it. Mine barley have any white at. I have them on the sand bed under 150 MH 14K. Do they like more light?

the lower you have them and the more shade you have them in, the more white and light blue you will see develop.

mine are on the sand under 150 MH but they are in direct light. I will move them over so they are shaded by the powerhead. Would like to get some white in them. They dont have much.

those are nice. I have some blundell buttons that look similar to those. They just have more blue to them. Kind of slow growers though.

My cinnamons are slow but I have another type of grandis that the adults have a blue/green coloring to them and those are really realy slow growers. I got two polyps about 3 months ago. they came off the frag disk and achored them self in a hole on a rock while I was out of town for a couple of days. Now I can not get them out and when they open you can not see their stems. I hope they will have babies but I don't think the babies will ever get light.

The more you feed them the more then grow, I had some that grew to slightly larger than a 1/2 dollar coin.

No I have cinnamons and some green blue grandis. I have never cut the cinnamons. I started with one. Now I have 4. I am waiting till there are at least 8-10 to cut it or it gets bigger then the plug.

These are just my regular grandis. I traded out the adults and kept the babies. they have doubled in size. I just wish they where not where they are because I dont know if they will ever make more because their base never gets light. It is in the hole of the rock. Over the past week their color is starting to come out.
