free tank

Not sure if this is the right place to post this... Moving across the country. Need to get rid of my neglected Nuvo SR80 (Shallow Reef 80 Gallon). Includes pumps, liverock, some coral (hammers and frogspawn). Tons of live rock covered in pink and coraline algae. Here's the basic summary...

I have a 50 gallon tank and the stand for free pick up in Manchester that I use to use to treat sick fish. Also have 125 gallon tank overflow that is sitting on its side in basement too.

My buddy just gave me his old AIO Evo. This thing was previously infested with everything in the book... I planned on setting this up as a QT. After a deep scrub... Is it still even worth using as a QT or am I playing with fire?
