short spine urchin

So I got a short spine urchin yesterday. The aquarium store bag broke, he and a snail fell outta my hands to the ground. The snail died, and my urchin is alive but all spines are down laid at times, and he barely moves at all? is he dying? should I remove him guys? Thank you all as always...
