Today at camp, kids were asked to dress like what they want to be when they grow up. My youngest asked to be a pirate. So yeah, I feel like I have succeeded as a mom. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Jokes on you if you thought I was posting something reef related :face-savoring-food:. Happy Friday fellow hobbyists.

I stayed home with a sick kiddo today. I’m glad I did. When I went in to check on the big tank the water level in the display was at the very top of the tank  . When I checked what the issue was I found algae and slime had clogged the weirs in the over flow. (All my fault, I’ve been slacking on maintenance) I cleaned it all out and crisis averted.

Full tank shot just cause it’s been awhile.

I got everything done with it except changing out the carbon. It’s way overdue but it’s gonna have to wait.

DO YOU USE A PAR METER WHEN PLACING NEW CORAL IN YOUR TANK?

  • Yes! I think it's important for the longterm health/growth of my coral.
