She looks very nice!Few pics the first day. She is an early riser and last to go to sleep.
Used orange filter to remove blue
Thank you my friend. I have to agree. They are amazing in person. Remind me of silk moving like a flag in waterShe looks very nice!
Great to see you Don. The kids and I had a great time. Thanks for lunch too! Going through some of the pictures now. I took over a hundred of the tank and videos, LOL!Got to spend time with a great friend @NY_Caveman today with his son and daughter.great people and great fun and the tank is icing on the cake. Thanks Brian
Makes me feel good hearing such a complement From you. Makes all the lows and work worth itI have seen so many pictures of this tank since it was set up. Today it was really like I saw it for the first time. It is incredible. I knew all the little critters and corals, but seeing them interacting together, full of life, in person was just without compare.
Thank you for the compliment and for stopping by.WOW! NICE SETUP!
Definitely gonna skip the chaeto on the next fuge. Id love a grubby puddle like @najer someday.Took one picture this weekend and shared it with a couple people I thought would love it.
Why not share it with everyone. This might be my favorite part of the tank. It’s the heart that keeps everything going.
Removed about 4 gallons of Cheeto and sea lettuce. Mostly chaeto after giving @RichtheReefer21 some lettuce to feed his gang.
Love when I clean the macro out and can see the rocks. Let’s see if it can keep up with extra feeding
I ran with out Chaeto for awhile. It’s more mess when pulling out then other macro. I have such a small area it’s more of lettuce it get messy and do it’s job then looks. I would love to have fuge for most Export and separate macro/leather display in sump area.Definitely gonna skip the chaeto on the next fuge. Id love a grubby puddle like @najer someday.
I have the same issue with my Marco Rock. Assumed Asterina’s were keeping the Coraline at bay but theyre mostly gone now. I dont understand how it doesnt grow on the rock. It grows EVERYWHERE else.Wow that video came out great @NY_Caveman . I really appreciate the time you spent making the video. All the Misfits are the best.
The rocks look sterile. I don’t really care for it but won’t complain. Better then some sort off out break but prefer a little more natural look. Bottoming our NO3 cleaned everything up in the display.
Marco rock seems to be stubborn letting coraline grow. Coraline was growing then stopped and now snails and Asterinas are eating a lot of it. The little bit of algae is nonexistent in my tank. Nothing even for the tangs to pick at.I have the same issue with my Marco Rock. Assumed Asterina’s were keeping the Coraline at bay but theyre mostly gone now. I tried a couple things but tangs didn’t care for them. I will have to hunt down Caulerpa. That is the stuff that looks like a fern? You need to get some caulerpa to grow out, your tangs will love you for it, daily or every other day if you feed nori.
