Oh lawd, this was supposed to be a frag tank. Help me choose SPS, LPS, or softies?

I originally intended to run this fishless with CUC and a small frag rack. But decided on making it a small display and using magnetic racks/holders when needed. I added a most ordinary firefish

15 gallon IM cube (holds 11.5g without a scape. 10.25 with this scape)

I have two choices. AI Prime 16 HD, 12" AI blade, or supplement the prime with the blade.

I'd like to at least cure SPS frags in here from time to time.

Only equipment so far

-Sicce syncra 1.0, wide open throttle
-Some kind of 75 watt heater on a wifi inkbird 308 w/ 80 mm cooler master case fan
- Hygger Mini Wave (arrives tomorrow)
-Kamoer ATO ONE 2.0

I also have a spare kamoer F1 wifi doser I can add if/when needed.

I may or may not add substrate. Probably not.

Prime Plus blade for SPS. That way you don't have to run your prime so high and melt your lenses!

That's good thinking. As tall as the scape is, a prime and a blade would easily grow sps up top and still leave space for LPS and softies down low. Could probably grow caps (slowly) from about 1/3 of the way up.

Now I have to dig that prime out...

Just under the surface, over 1000 umol with everything turned to 11.

Running the blade and the prime just south of 40% on a more pleasing spectrum yields 400 par at the surface and 170 at the bottom.

I feel like I just put a 225 horse outboard on a 10 ft john boat.

DO YOU USE A PAR METER WHEN PLACING NEW CORAL IN YOUR TANK?
