Have you ever wished there was a thread of continuous step-by-step instructions on how to start a reef tank? Well, look no further!

Welcome to the Chain Game! Today's theme is How to Start a Reef Tank! Here's how to play:

I'll post the first step, then someone will post the second step, then someone else the third, and so on until we've started our imaginary reef tank! This can be educational for newbies and just something fun to do as a community. Will our tank thrive or fail? Let's find out...

Step 1: Decide, against your better judgment, to start a reef tank.

Next step??

Step 9: Finally decide on a tank, and cry as you put your credit card information in at checkout...

Well I went about this completely out of order lol. Me: Step 1. Decide it's now or never time for my first saltwater reef aquarium. Step 2. Went to PetSmart and bought a tank and stand... the biggest one I have space for. Step 3. Started researching, joined r2r, and realized I have no idea what I'm doing

DO YOU USE A PAR METER WHEN PLACING NEW CORAL IN YOUR TANK?
