Way OVER my head there... I apologize for this but wow.. Lost here total darkness.. Sounds so simple but I have no idea what so ever. ML's I get then I am lost lol.. cm3? I also get X, density I didn't know how to get..I understand it but didn't get it.. lol Oh and I get the measuring cup thing too.. lol

Bulk dry density varies a bit with the "fluffiness" of the material, but I've seen values ranging from 0.8 to 1.15 g/ml = g/cm3.

Thus, 100 ml (100 cm3) weighs between 80 and 115 grams.

It is easy to achieve without small scales: take 1 kg of ingredient, divide into 1000 equally sized portions and each one will be 1 gram.

How do you determine that each of the equal size portions is equal size?

I tried that method when making hot cross buns and I ended up with all the small size overcooked ones
