I lost a candy cane when I took it out of the tank the the whole thing was covered in white spots. The tissue was very damaged. So I examined my entire tank and noticed that the same spots are starting to cover my frogspawn and where these spots are the tissue is receded. I also noticed the same spots all over my back glass. Is this some type of flatworm.

Those looks like spirobids and as such would be totally incidental and not related to the decline and subsequent demise of your coral. Do you have a clearer pic? Are they spiraly shaped and hard?

You also have vertimid snails.... can annoy coral, but also I don't think cause of decline
