I added this Tomini tang 3 days ago. Eating and everything. It’s still kinda shy so likes to get in caves and cracks between the rocks. I wonder is that spot something to worry about, or just superficial wound like grazed on the rocks. Tank is new too, no ammonia, ph 8+, a little bit of phosphate, nitrite and nitrate from what I tested yesterday.

Could just be from netting or bumping into something. If it gets worse additional steps may be necessary.

I don’t think it was like that on the day I added it to the tank though. If it’s netting is that just scab of it healing? The fish does love to kinda nip the glass on one side of the tank.
