Using a ¼†fiber glass rod, drill ¼†holes and ( shish kebob ) “Souvlaki†the rocks. Easy coral removal and placement after drilling the rocks with a frag plug hole ½†advantage over other rock formations such as more water movement, can stock corals all the way up for more light “penthouse†and others. I may be the inventor of this method :nerd:

It can also be used in an algae scrubber for more surface area and better water movement.

You could probably use the replacement tent posts that Walmart sells also now that i think of it. They're probably about the same thing as what you're using.

obviously youd have to cut off the metal part.

I figured Id look up the ones at tractor supply too while I was at it.

That's how we've been doing it for my business since we started. If you prefer using other formations, ones that are non-linear (Just about all of our products), cut the fiberglass into smaller pieces (We use 4'', unless it's custom) and drill two inches on both connecting rocks, and then connect. :) The advantage to this is easy removal of sections of a rock formation, as opposed to taking it all off to get to coral holding rocks. Fiberglass is best as it does not swell after long exposure to water. This means that rocks are easier to separate off the rods, should you need to.

Very cool! A skybridge to connect two "coral scraper's" would be really cool!
That’s where I draw the line --------------- LOL with little fishes going under the bridge and crabs and snails walking on the bicycle ramp ………..
