GLASSBOX DESIGN - Modern Reef Aquarium Blog posted this up and I wanted to share.

Kalk, lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide, trace element concoctions, even lye; most of these have some efficacy against Aptasia or pest Majano Anemones, but odds are you’ve never tried to electrocute them. Yes, we’re for real. Joseph’s brew may be put to the bench in favor of something a bit more powerful. Paul Baldassano’s innovative gadget above uses electricity, or more precisely electrolysis, to get rid of the stinging pests.

LOL! So I am wondering if they actually die? I would love to see an update on these in a few days from when the video was filmed.

Thats really funny, I mean hell if it works thats great, but only a mad scientist reefer could come up with some insane idea of electrocuting a pest in water.. That really is comical, something I would picture bart simpson doing :p

That was actually my hand. Try doing that and filming at the same time.

They actually disintegrate.

You just met Bart Simpson. But the patent will be finalized in a few weeks, Bart makes more money than I do though :squigglemouth:

I just ordered one of these from Paul yesterday. I saw one in action in San Diego recently and knew I had to own one too! I'll be sharing video of it working soon.

Aparently, I sold just about 100 of them so far.
Soon they will be made commercially, the patent is almost finalized. I am having a little trouble keeping up with demand so I am not trying to sell them on here so don't tell anyone SSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH Hush is the word
