3 Month mark and the tank is back to normal after the spike.
I added a second powerhead and programmed it into the wavemaker on the ReefKeeper.
I also changed out some of the blue LEDS to a provide a more of a full sprectrum with 2 X 660nm Reds, 2 X 520nm Greens, 4 X 420nm UV, and 4 X 460nm Blues.

Sorry for the difference in quality of the pics. I am using a Samsung Note, Iphone 4, or a Canon T3i DLSR depending on which is more convenient at the time.

The tank is a year old now. Changed the LEDs to a DIY RapidLed kit and growth is finally taking off. Running GFO and dosers for Alk, Ca, Mg.

I moved a few of the colonies to another tank and added over 30 new frags.

I think the only down side to the reservoir construction of the AIO jbj is it is nearly impossible to clean the sides of the very bottom.

Turkey baster for detritus suction and a scraper blade with a handle works. I don't have anything growing in the back compartments except for tube worms. The cheato area stays relatively clean with no nasty build up.
The media baskets are removable for soaking if needed but rarely needed. I haven't even cleaned my pumps in a year.

Quick question. I was cleaning mine out today and was draining the reservoir compartment. I noticed the left hand overflow section doesn't have silicon on the bottom part of glass and so drain in the rest of the reservoir. Make sense? You have that?

I have two of these tanks and noticed one of mine did that during water testing. I ran some silicone to cover it but it shouldn't be an issue as the baffles main purpose is to eliminate micro bubbles

Mine drains from the bottom the the refugium section and then over to the middle where the return pumps are. That is normal unless you are referring to something else.

*Just reread it and now I understand. Yeah it shouldn't be leaking and I have heard of others having quality control issues with the rears baffles.
Add some silicon to fix it. If not you can always have them replace the tank.

It is also for keeping the water level on the side compartments steady especially if running an in tank skimmer.

Ok, just making sure it wasn't designed that way. I will use some silicone and try to seal it up. Thanks for the replies! Sorry to hijack thread.
