I just traded for one these JBJ 3g Pico tanks. I didn't any lighting yet, was wondering what LEDs & mounting options people were using.
Suggestions?

A week and no suggestion... I went with a Boost LED Par30 and their Gooseneck style mount. Seems to light it up nicely.

Par 30 is a good choice. Save money that way. One of my buddies took his apart and installed his own led's to his liking over his 6 gal.

This was the start...

This is current. Didn't turn out to shabby... just too afraid to take it to work now!

Par 30 seems to be doing well.

Thanks, the Zoas do seem to enjoy it. The only drawback is the gooseneck to hold the bulb. Kinda takes away from the low profile/ clean look. Then again, it's probably just my OCD!

I am the same way lol no worries keeps people like you and I bussy. I'm sure you will find a few other ideas. A buddy of mine made a rapid led diy with a heatsink 4X4 that looked really nice. I also like the ecotech radion RX15 and their tank mounts look really sleek if money is not an issue.

Sadly, I decided to cut back on my tanks. A local friend gladly scooped it up and is enjoying it today. I'll see if he might share an update.

I really like the look of it with that black sand you had in there JD. I was running out of tank space so this is the cluttered mess I have in it right now.
