Benefit of having algae growing in an invert and corals tank?

Well, its a good thing, kinda. Depends on what you have in the tank that can keep it under control when it gets to be a bit much. But, it help polish the water, give PODs a place to breed. Not a bad thing, but ya gotta watch the growth.

Is it a good thing to grow it in your refugium and can you use that to feed your grazers or not really?

Very good! Pod food, invert food, and fish food. You obviously don't want it to get horribly out of control. But it's the staple of life.

Is this too much algae to have?? I've got a 65 gal with around 10 crabs to eat on it. Only been in saltwater about 6 months, 2 months with this tank.

I am battling the same problem. I keep scrubbing my rocks and it just keeps coming back, I don't know what to do about it. I am like you, I have about 10 crabs and they are not making a dent in it, what else can we do. There must be something.
