Hey all,
I had started a 20 gal nano in my office and just am not happy. I figured, with the $1/ gal sale going on, I am upgrading it to a 40B with a 20 high sump. Also building a custom stand.

Found an eshopps hob overflow that was missing bulkheads for $29.99 at the LPS and decided to hack it up for an internal.

Into this

Got an SC-301 skimmer, and the rest of the build is from spare parts. I am going to need a return pump upgrade however.

Makeshift mini rock tower/bubble trap for the overflow. Hoping there's a sock that fits this hole, ****.

Overflow box siliconed to back wall with tape and bulkhead to hold it in place. When it's cured I can figure out the plumbing. Added layer of protection I figure.

Great! It's cycled and now has a pair of Darwin's clowns (Charles and Emma) in it. Just got my light mounted today!
