Hey everyone,

I found a ton of erectus fry floating around in the seahorse tank yesterday morning. Half of them were in the skimmer so they somehow made it through the pump without being shredded. I got them out and setup a kreisel tank for them. Some say it isn't necessary but I had good luck with it several years ago when I raised some to about 3 months old but lost them in a power outage. Hopefully I will be able to raise most of these.

That's very cool! Last night my wife randomly asked me if seahorses breed in tanks, now I have a cool pic to show her!

Oh yeah. They are probably the easiest marine fish to raise.

Funny you should ask. I only had a few brine shrimp eggs left that were very old. I have only been feeding them once a day which is far from ideal trying to get them to last until the ones I ordered from brine shrimp direct got here. I ran out of eggs last night but ended up getting rained out at work so I went to the LFS which isn't so local really and got some more. They only have the small vials but they will get me through until the brine shrimp direct ones get here. I plan on feeding three times a day if possible.

They are 8 days old today. I have lost a few of course but most are still doing well. Getting bigger every day. Hard to get a good picture through the aquarium and plastic fishbowl that is inside it.
