I use a backup for my powerheads but its not that brand. I use the ecotech battery backup designed for the powerheads. The UPS may work but you may have to rig it up. Every UPS is different. You have to get the UPS load table (in the manual) and figure out what you are going to be running; and how much power it takes. For example, if you are running 1 powerhead... how much power does that take... and how long will that particular UPS last using that power. There are so many variables so I can't give you a straight answer, but I hope it points you in the right direction.
