I figured you were in the scandinavian area! I've visited Sweden once and noticed it was pretty common to have heated floors installed in that area... like what you posted in your picture above. It's not as common in the US for that type of construction. Good luck! This will be a fun project to watch through completion.

:) the cold winters make it nice with some heat on the floor and it makes water dry up super fast also :)
thanx

Thanx it sure is my dream build :) i will reuse some of the korralenwelt rock i used in my 375 liters reef but this time i will qt fish so i will run the tank in 2 months with out fish to hopefully have a ick free system
IMG_1070.JPG
This photo is from my 375litersthe ceramic rock from korralenwelt in germany run this tank ca 5 years with only ceramic with no issues so reuse this with some real reef rock, caribsea rock and also some fresh live rock
The old tank will be quarantine tank

Looks awesome. Is the rack system your using for the lights an automated system with a button to raise and lower or is it a manual lift? I'm looking for something very similar for my 10ft tank. Defiantly going to pull some ideas from your build to add to my design. Great job.

Thanks its a manual lifting system i find it in a autoshop for use to raise roof boxes etc to cars then cut it down and welded the arms to get more narrow to fit the lighting rack , would be nice to have it automatic but i don't think i will mess to much with lower and raise it once its set
its very sudsy and i am sure its real cheap in the states , living in sweden high import tax and sales tax makes every purchase insanely more expensive

Tagging along,

This should be interesting. Euro-builds always are!
