2 part in same container

I was wondering if when dossing a 2 part(calcium/alk) if I could mix them

and then put them in the same dripper or do they need to be dripped

seperate.

No you can't mix them.

Also, while dripping/dosing, you want to do it in a high flow area, not near each other. For example when I used dosing pumps they were at opposite ends of the sump.

two containers. calcium chloride plus sodium carbonate with precipitate calcium carbonate. Plus calcium chloride combined with magnesium sulfate will precipitate calcium sulfate.

As others stated, dripped separately and if dripping at the same time, be sure to keep distance between the two lines or they will percipitate.

Precipitation is the reason they aren't put together. Try it in a seperate container and see what happens ;)

it's actually pretty cool just use small amounts so you are not pointlessly wasting a gallon of 2part lol :D

kalk is one part. just mrs wages picking lime.

(well for the calcium and alk portions anyway).

I think you'll find the 2 (actually 3) parts are better IMHO and allow you to adjust calcium, carbonate, magnesium independently.
