In anticipation of adding kalk to my ato I have purchased a DA SL1 and ph probe. This will provide me a backup safety incase the float switch stuck. I'm excited about stepping it up a little.

I added a new blacker ice clown that I won from Alpha Aquaculture. Kris is a great guy, be sure to check them out if your looking for designer clowns!

I have some hair algae and phospates have climbed to .40 . I will be purchasing a phosphate reactor soon. I am planning a upgrade next year so I need one big enough to use on it.

I started using a phosphate reactor and have slowly brought down phosphates to .10 and still decreasing. The hair algae is still there but bearable. I lost another frogspawn. It is strange how I can keep some corals and not others.

I purchased a sea hare which cleaned up (devoured) some hair algae. The tank is running great and coral growth is good right now.

I'm out of room for more corals. While the internal filter has worked out good it takes up a lot of room.

I got the aqua mags yesterday. They were delivered really fast and seem to be a great product. My only complaint is that they are WHITE. Time will take care of that but there a bit of a eyesore right now.

My complete lack of attention to the tank recently is showing. But not in the way I expected. It's going on 5 weeks since I've done a water change. Nuisance algae seems to be at a all time low. Corals look fantastic and are growing great. I know softies don't like pristine water but this surprises me.
