Hello reefers!
I have been in the hobby for 15 months now and I have finally decided I’m ready to upgrade to a larger tank. I currently have a 40G breeder reef tank with a tidal 75 HOB filter, Octo HOB skimmer, and two AIPRIME 16hd. My LFS is willing to sell me a 90g reef ready tank (drilled) and a sump together for $500. I have also found an innovative marine FUVO SR 120 from fb marketplace for $1000. My question to you all is, If you had to choose one or the other which one would you choose and why? Im currently leaning towards the 90g tank and sump for $500 since it’s new (sump is used, but cleaned) and I would just buy a stand for and add another light (ai26). The IM SR120 is gorgeous, but the tank being extremely long at 6ft(have to buy more power heads) as well as AIO/Sumpless which makes me question if it’ll be easier/healthier for my fish as well as cost efficient compared to buying the 90g tank. My main reason for upgrading is for adding tangs and to have all of my wires/equipment not shown.
Thanks In advance for all the help!
