Why not just use Oatley fusion, which is primer + cement in 1 application?

And best off its clear on top....

I was told the only reason why the primer and cement is purple is so when Building and Safety needs to do inspection, it makes it easier for them to see if the job was done correctly.

But for a fishtank, who cares about inspection when its you thats inspecting it.
It has more acetone in it and uses Tetrahydrofuran as a solvent instead of Cyclohexanone. So in theory may melt the pvc a bit faster.

However for non pressure applications there is no real benefit if it is more expensive than regular medium body cement. Same price? Sure, go for it.

Yeah at lowes it costs almost the same for a single fusion or a two combo pack of primer + cement.

If you were to buy the primer + cement seperately tho, it costs more.

I just use fusion now. I got too comfortable with it, and its easy to use.
I also have enough probably to last me until the can goes bad before i actually run out.
