A Question

Ok, this is why I haven't been here as much as I used to be, on

Sept. 25, I first tore my medial quad in my right leg.
November 3rd, saw sports med doctor
November 3rd, x-rays
November 3rd, MRI, no contrast
November 6th, MRI, with contrast
November 10th, Physical Therepy started,
November 12th, Ultrasound
November 16th, saw sport doctor2
November 22nd, Saw sport doctor2's assistants, doctor2 is an orthorpedic surgeon, they talked about surgery, suggested, doctor2 was out of own.

I will find out for sure sometime this week if they are for sure going to do surgery.

There is a story to go with this, if you want to here it, pm me.

The question is, they were thinking about do an arthoscopic surgery, can anyone tell me their experiences with this???

ive never had any myself, but i know sports injuries are one of the most advanced fields in medicine, so I'm sure that if they do perform surgery, it will be effective.

LOL, you will be fine. all they do is put a very small incision and they will fix the tear. It's really not that bad. I tore my meniscus in my knee twice and it was not to bad. You will be up and around very quickly. Good luck.. you will be fine

My fiancé's sister plays basketball, and has had over 5 arthroscopic surgeries on her knees!! She is fine now...but done basketball of course!!!

Good to hear you dont need the surgery Maroonytunes

I had arthroscopic surgery because of a torn ACL. It wasnt bad. Just had to go to physical therapy afterwords. They let me go home right after the surgery.
