Is it okay to add fish during ugly stage of tank? Setup for around 6-7 weeks and diatoms have arrived for four days and going away on their own. Adding cuc in next week for potential cyano and gha arrival. Already have two clowns to keep ammonia source going and nitrites are zero and nitrates are 2-5.

Yes and adding something that will disturb the sand can help against diatoms and cyano. Maybe a goby just make sure to get a non sand sifting one

Also though diatoms almost always appear in varying amounts cyano and GHA can be avoided. Copepods, good flow, and not blasting the tank with light too early can avoid the worst of these algae’s.
