I have a 90 gallon display with gorgonians leathers a few lps and getting into a few spots. Been using 2 ai prime 16s to light the display hanging as close to the side as the metal stands with go. Would adding a 3rd light to it be beneficial for some of the stoney corals or should I keep it at 2?

Third would be better. T5 hybrid probably being best option followed by some strips.

This is with the 3rd light. There is 2 inch black plastic bracing across the top so I did not want to put it at center. Would a 4th light on the right side to even out the hot spots and shadowing be recommended then?

The issue with LED is not intensity, they will do a great job directly below them. The spread is the issue. So as many as you can at a lower intensity wins.

Even with 120° lenses stony corals can shade out and die on the underside.

This is why I won't run led with out t5 supplement.
