Hi.
I just acquired three small erectus (probably about 4-5 months old). I've got them in a small tank for now but have a larger one ready for them when they get larger. Unfortunately the pump in the AIO tank that I have them in seems like too much flow even at the lowest setting. I know they can handle it (and sometimes even enjoy it) but I'd like to give them a break from the flow overnight. Can I just put an airstone/bubbler in there overnight and turn the circulating pump back on in the morning?

Yes you can. That will create sufficient water movement and surface agitation for gas exchange.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
