Here’s the video of the spawn.

It poofed white smoke a few times before I finally caught it on video. This thing is so weird. Does anyone know what it is called? Is this considered spawning?

That's a Fleshy Limpet (I'm not sure the exact species of yours, but I know some Lucapina species can look similar; regardless, they should be harmless/beneficial) - and yes, that's definitely it spawning.

Super cool!

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
