Anybody Drink Phyto?

Whenever I research phytoplankton I always come across "super food" supplements. Obviously these are made for human consumption, but... it made me wonder ... could you drink cultured phyto? So has anybody tried it?

I imagine the human consumption kind has a great deal of desalinization happening to it first.
