Hi, I'm Julie. I'm having trouble setting up my lamp. For example: I would like to be able to set it to 70% power and keep it that way. But this lamp still increases the illumination to 100%. there is something like:
Acclimation phase-30-59 % op power
Light actimmated- 60-70% of power
Strongly light aclimmated-71-100%
My tank is shallow, 35 cm hihg- about13 inch I think. Lamp is hanging high enough above my aquarium, about 25-30 cm above the aquarium. I would not like to raise the lamp height, I am looking for a way to simply set it to lower power, but permanently.
Could someone advise me how to program the lamp in general, so that the lighting is really optimal for my corals? Most of them are LP's- few gonioporas, few Euphyllias ( one is torch), caulastrea, some soft ones - few Rhodactis, discosoma, ricordeas, zoas..
I am now using a program that is already installed - it is called LPS +. I would like to learn how to program the light myself, it's great fun and, above all, it's all for the good of the corals.
