Anyone have any experience with the JBL TopClean II (skimmer)?

Hi!
Im looking at getting a JBL TopClean II (skimmer) as my tank has a lot of detritus and id like to increase aeration too. Its for my 15 gal long. Anyone have any opinions/experience with this skimmer?

its a surface skimmer, so unless your detritus is floatiing on the surface, it wont help.....and as far as aeration, it might only help by removing the "oily" surface....
