Anyone now what this is?

Would any of you happen to know what this little guy is? It doesn’t look like aptasia to me. It is living under my GSP, so it must not need much light.

What's the base of it look like? Does it have a solid base (like the skeleton of a coral) or a squishy foot (like an anemone)?

Those feeding arms look more like a coral (visible clusters of nematocysts)

Maybe cup coral or some other NPS/dendro?

I would scoop up under it, go deep enough to pull the entire thing out without much disruption, and isolate it for better pics/ID.

So, looking at it this morning, it is completely retracted. I watched it for some time just in case something brushed over it, but it has not opened at all this morning.

Due to its small size, I wouldn't want to move or touch it as it might get damaged. I think it might be attached to the rock just below the sand in that spot.

Small aptasia with big foot?

I moved the plug front and center, I even attached one to a frag plug to see if it does anything different in a higher par. Luckily, these are not in my main display system. Here they are under white light. Tonight I will try to get images of them at lights off under white light too. Ok, soo...
