I have a tank full of live (?) rock in my new display that came from my old 10 year running system. 90% of that old rock got down to about 45 during a power outage because I had to take its heaters to keep up on my livestock tanks. I lost a lot of tiny starfish and fan worms I know, but read denitrifying bacteria can tolerate lower temps. Not sure now if the new tank will build ammonia and need to cycle again or not. I'm hoping to add the remaining 10% with corals attached back in soon that were heated through the outage.
