Compacts put out very little light. For example, I took par readings for my brother when he was running compacts and he barely had 25 par at the sandbed of his 90g. He's closer to 200 par now at the same depth with leds.

If your bulbs are older, it could have just been going down gradually so maybe they are just not as bright as they once were.

It is looking like old bulbs to me as well. Pc bulbs do have top be replaced every 12-18 months as they will lose intensity and color shift.

pmgaudio, I believe he is saying your bulbs might be old? I had this same problem. I have since changed my bulbs and it's been a couple three months now and all of my corals are finally getting back to normal. Lol. Hope this helps. Good luck

I add extra V, Zn, I, and Mn per week and haven't done any water changes in over a year. These corals quickly use up the elements in the water.
I dose Triton Elementz, and add extra per week.
0.28ml V
1.12ml Zn
6.44ml Mn
4.62ml I
