Upgraded my reef tank from a 10 gallon nano to a 25 gallon waterbox peninsula. All my corals (zoas, months, euphyllia, and mushrooms) have been doing good so far except my birds nest. Birds nest polyps are fully out but bleached white. I moved it down from where it was but colors not returning yet, been about 2 weeks. Should I just put it on the sandbed and work it back up?

I’m running an ai prime 16 with BRS settings but the whites toned down.

Phosphate 0.07
Nitrate 5
Ca 450
Alk 7.6 (need to bump this up)
Mg 1350

I had my birds nest right under my previous tanks light (hapgerro) in the middle and high up.

What is your temperature and your temp swing day to night? Bleaching can be temp related. Especially more sensitive sps corals
There’s no huge swings in temp. I got my heater hooked up to my apex so it’s not moving more than 1 degree F over a long timeframe.
